Day 01: Manali - Keylong

It is about six hour's, 115 km driev to Keylong from Manali.

Day 02: Visit Khardong and Shashur Gompa

It is situated on the left bank of the Bhaga river, above the khardong village facing Kaylong. It is around four kilometers from the Keylong. Thsi monastery boasts of the largest strength of monks adn nuns (about 30) in the Lahaul region. Shashur Gompa, dedicated to Lama Gotsang-of Zanskar was founded in the 16th Century and belongs tot he red sect. (Gelug-Pa) who have spiritual links wit the Lion Cave Temple in Bhutan, dedicated to Lama Rinpoche (Padma Sambhavas). During June/July the annual festival of Chham is held

Day 03: Drive to Udeypur and Triloknath Temple

This temple is situated 52 km from Keylong and easily approachable by road. Dedicated to Mrikula Devi, it was constructed during the 15th century by the King of Chamba and his Lahauli feudal chief, is a Hindu architecture with fine wodden carvings. It is said that the famous Hadimba temple in Manali adn this temple had same architect.

Drive to Udeypur and Triloknath Temple

Easily approchable by road or mule road from Arat, which is situated on the main road to Udeypur. One of the most ancient temples in Lahaul, it was originally a Hindu temple and laterconverted to Buddhism, by installing statue of Phagpa Chrinzik. It is said that Guru PAdma Sambhava also visited the temple. Originally, it is decided to the Pandvas as legend says that Pandvas spent few days over here during their 14 year exile. It is very sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists, and visited every year by pilgrims from all over India.

Day 04: Drive to Manali

Manali is about 152 km from Udeypur (eight hour drive) through the same route.
