Day 01:
Manali to Chikka (3,300 meters)

Chikka is situated at 3,300 meters. Camp site is located on the right bank of Nallah (Hamta Nallah). |

Day 02:
Chikka to Hamta Jot (4,268 meters) |
|
|
Pass is open from May to September, and from this point one gets a beautiful view of Deo Tibba and Indrasan and peak of central Lahaul. After remaining at Hamta one has to retreat to 3,400 meters. |

Day 03: Hamta to Sarotu
|

|
The camping ground is at a grazing place. On the way one can see the famous caves of Wangdwar. |

Day 04: Sarotu to Bhanara
|

|
Bhanara is situated at 2,300 meters and there is an old temple dedicated to local God and remnants of forts of Raja Piti, an earlier riler of Kullu. Near Bhanara there is another historic cave (Arjun Gufa) where Pandvas are believed to have taken refuge during their exile. From Bhanara one can get down to Jagatsukh or to Prini and can get transport to Manali the next day. |
