The concept of travelling in India is pilgrimage, in Indian terms we call it Yatra every Hindu is supposed to go for Yatra once in his life time. One can go to Hardiwar, Allahabad (Prayga), Varanasi, Amaranth in Kashmir Vashinvo Devi in Jammu, Triputi in Andhra Pradesh. These are some of the pilgrimage centers of India it is believed if one is homaged to these pilgrimage centres devotee can achieve salvation and if one can take a dip in the holy ganges they can attain good karma. Birth places off Lord Rama in Ayodhay and birthplace of Lord Krishna in Mathura are equally great centres of pilgrimage. |
